What is a conductor's music stand?

The orchestra stand is used by the conductor to hold his scores and thus facilitate reading. The music stand is made up of an inclined top and a fixed or folding foot. It can slide under the conductor podium in order to facilitate the movements of the conductor and guarantee good stability.
